Casey Cole
Casey Cole is the youngest identical twin daughter of the legendary singer, Nat King Cole. Her twin sister is Timolin. They are the youngest children of four and the younger sister of renowned singer Natalie Cole. (Carole Cole is the eldest sister, passed away in May 2009 and brother Nat Kelly Cole died in 1985 at 35 years old from AIDS.) Natalie resides in Los Angeles, California while Timolin and Casey live in Boca Raton.
Casey is a 1983 graduate from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in French and International Relations.
During the summer of 1984, she was a French translator for the Olympics in Los Angeles, California. She then went on to Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) in Los Angeles from 1985 to 1990 where she managed and calculated music royalties for songwriters and publishers. In 1989, Casey was the Executive Producer for a children's album entitled "Nursery Raps With Mama Goose" on MCA Records.
In 1990, Casey joined her twin sister Timolin who had already launched her own public relations company, Cole Public Relations, and represented such clients as sister Natalie Cole, handling the launch of her "Unforgettable" album, as well as the Shark Bar, a New York soul food restaurant catering to celebs such as Robert DeNiro, Denzel Washington, Spike Lee and Diane Sawyer.
After the birth of her son, she became involved in local charities in Los Angeles, specifically Children's Institute International where she served on the board. She then moved to Boca Raton, Florida where she serves on the board of The Wayside House, a non-profit organization assisting the needs of women with substance abuse issues and addiction. She also served on the board of the Center for the Arts at Mizner Park.
Since 1992, she has served as Director of Business Affairs for King Cole Productions, Inc. a family owned business which oversees proper management and usage of Nat King Cole's image and likeness.
Last year in March of 2008 Casey and her twin sister, Timolin, launched Nat King Cole Generation Hope. Casey serves as Vice President of the 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which is dedicated to keeping music alive in schools throughout South Florida, as well as in major cities throughout the country. Casey also serves on the Advisory Board for the Quincy Jones Music Symposium for Music Education.
Casey and her husband Julian currently live in Boca Raton with their son, Wyatt, 15 years old.
